Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Refaat Al-Ghobashi, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, one hundred and fifty students of the fourth year studying medicinal herbs, visited Al-Hamzawy area, which is an area for trafficking medicinal plants. The students learned about the sources of purchasing these plants and how to obtain them, they purchased Egyptian anise seeds for distillation in the essential oil distillation device at the faculty to extract the oil and use it in pharmaceutical preparations. The visit took place under the direct supervision of Professor of the course, Prof. Samir Othman, and in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Yahya Demonstrator in the Department of Pharmacognosy
