 An undergraduate Exhibition “Modern Perspective for Environmental Design”

To present the projects of undergraduate students, the environmental studies and sciences course for the academic year 2022- 2023.
Supervised by Dr. Hala Mohsen El Mahmoudy, Lecturer, Interior design and furniture, Faculty of Applied arts,6 October University.
 
The concept of environmental design is deeply linked to the awareness that technological progress can find a solution to reduce the carrying capacity of the environment and stop the depletion of natural resources. The exhibition includes the interior design of the restaurant's space in different environments (Agricultural, desert, coastal, mountainous, caves, and underwater) through illustrations and 3D Miniature models that present many design solutions, as the activity did not differ, but according to the environment, the materials differ. Green environmental design is the system used to design all models as well as the materials used are eco-friendly materials in order to reduce harmful emissions and reduce environmental pollution.
The exhibition was opened on Sunday 5/7/2023, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mona Abu Tabl, Dean of the Applied Arts College, Prof. Dr. Omaima Ibrahim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hanaa El kazazz, Vice Dean for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Bahira Gabr, Vice Dean for post Graduate Studies and Research, Prof.  Dr. Maha Ibrahim, Head of the Scientific Department, Interior Design and Furniture, and many professors at the college. The students presented their projects through discussions with the attendees to clarify the idea of ​​design and methods of implementation of the 3D models.
