Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal Samy, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mustafa El Hodhod, Dean of the College of Medicine and Surgery, Prof. Dr. Tariq Hammad, Dean of the College of Economics and Administration, and supervised by Prof.Dr. Azza El Ghareeb, the vice Dean for Community Service Affairs of College of Medicine and Prof. Dr. Suzy Rashad, Vice Dean of the College of Economics and Administration for Community Service Affairs
The community service sector of the two faculties organized an awareness campaign entitled No to Smoking. The campaign targets university students from various faculties to educate them about the harmful effects of smoking and its types and its impact on the human health. And the students of the Medical Sustainability Group from the College of Medicine educated the students and distributed pamphlets containing information on the subject. The College of Mass Communication carried out the media coverage of the campaign.
