The college’s participation in the celebration of International Women’s Day, which was organized by the 6th of October City Authority

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Gamal Samy, President of the University, Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Amr Nadim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Azza Al-Gharib, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the College’s Community Service Sector participated in the celebration of International Women’s Day, which was organized by the Equal Opportunities Unit of the 6th of October City Authority, where Prof. Dr. Amjad Gabr, Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine, 6th of October University, gave a speech about the necessity of supporting women. The worker psychologically, the pressures she is exposed to, and how to deal with them. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Gamal, Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, 6th of October University and a member of the Safe Women’s Unit, also gave a speech in which he talked about the role of the unit and the services it provides, the types of violence to which women are exposed, and ways to deal with abused women. The celebration took place in an atmosphere of joy, and the symposium was followed by an open discussion with the attendees, and their questions and inquiries were answered. The celebration was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the agency’s building.
