The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery participated in a diagnostic awareness convoy to Nahdet Misr School of Applied Technology in October Gardens, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amr Nadeem, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ezzat Al-Gharib, College Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and organizing the awareness caravans committee for schools, headed by Prof. Dr. Samir Othman, Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The students of the MSG Medical Sustainability Team affiliated with the Community Service Committee raised awareness among first-year secondary school students about food poisoning and the dangers of smoking. Students in the dermatology specialization were also examined and given medical advice on ways to maintain healthy hair and skin and prevent infectious skin diseases
