 As part of the celebration by the Faculty of Dentistry – October 6 University of World Oral Health Day, on Monday, April 6, 2026, in cooperation with the FDI World Dental Federation, the faculty organized a grand celebration in the main conference hall of the university hospital. This was part of activities aimed at raising awareness about the importance of oral and dental health and its vital role in general human health. This event was held under the patronage and presence of: Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mostafa Ghorab – President of the University, Professor Dr. Iman El-Azizi – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Hisham Tamraz – Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Professor Dr. Mohsen Abi Al-Hassan – Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, with the attendance and supervision of the faculty deputies: - Prof. Dr. Hadeel Sabry, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. - Prof. Dr. Magi Khairy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Affairs. The celebration witnessed the participation of Dr. Nahawand Thabet, representative of the FDI World Dental Federation in Africa, in the day's activities in support of efforts to promote oral health awareness at regional and international levels.

- Professor Dr. Hala Mohi El-Din Abbas, Professor of Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Health at the Faculty of Dentistry - Cairo University and October 6 University, gave an outstanding scientific lecture addressing the relationship between oral health and general health, with the participation of Dr. Nada Adel Salem, lecturer in the department. The lecture discussed the importance of the integration between oral health and general health and its role in improving individuals' quality of life. - The World Oral Health Day witnessed active participation from students through a variety of activities within the teaching clinics, where dental students provided awareness sessions and initial examinations for attendees, along with explaining proper oral and dental care methods and the importance of prevention and early detection. Efforts to raise awareness also extended to university students from various faculties through interactive educational campaigns aimed at spreading awareness of healthy behaviors and promoting the concept that oral health is a fundamental part of general health and quality of life, which contributed to consolidating the social and practical role of the students.

- The college also organized a campaign called "Your Teeth, Your Responsibility" and conducted check-ups for visitors from all university colleges between 13/2/2026 and the end of April, at the college's clinics in cooperation with Helion company. The campaign included awareness on methods to prevent tooth sensitivity as a project within the objectives of the college's celebration in 2026.  
The campaign is expected to continue until the end of April 2026, with a total of 10,000 visitors during the campaign days, including faculty members, staff, and university students. The goal is to enhance community awareness of the importance of oral and dental disease prevention, encourage healthy behaviors, and build on the college's leading role in serving the community and developing the environment.
