Within the framework of the October 6 University Faculty of Dentistry's keenness to support scientific and research activities and encourage students to innovate and participate academically, a number of the faculty's students participated in the events of the Tanta International Dental Conference by presenting a scientific poster entitled:

“Eco-Dent: Transforming Dental Practice through Sustainable Material Selection and Waste Analytics.”
The poster reviewed the concept of sustainability in dentistry through an innovative model for selecting dental materials according to their environmental impact, in addition to analyzing waste from treatment practices to reduce waste and enhance the efficiency of resource use within dental clinics.
This participation reflects the students' interest in integrating sustainability concepts and modern technology in the field of dentistry in line with global trends toward more environmentally responsible health practices.
