"Book Fair" – Monday, 3/11/2025
Organized by the Community Service Affairs, Faculty of Applied Arts
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of October 6 University, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mona Abu Tabl, Dean of the Faculty, and according to the approved plan of the Community Service Affairs Sector for the academic year 2025-2026, a book fair was organized. All participants were members of the Egyptian Publishers Union. The fair was honored by the inauguration of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, University President, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with the deputies and deans of the university's faculties.
Exhibiting companies offered discounts of up to 50% and complimentary books as gifts. The goal of organizing the book fair is to promote culture and knowledge, while contributing to the achievement of several Sustainable Development Goals such as quality education, equality, and decent work, as well as supporting Egypt's Vision 2030 through various types of books.
