"Sustainability Practices in Packaging According to Global Standards" Seminar – Thursday, 4/12/2025

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mona Abu Tabl, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, and Prof. Dr. Nasser Hamed, Head of the Department of Advertising, the seminar was coordinated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Abeer Salem, lecturer in the Advertising Program. The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs vice dean participated in managing the dialogue and honoring the guests. The seminar guests were: Eng. Rehab Ali Sadiq - Head of the Central Administration for the Center of Excellence at the General Authority for Export and Import Control and Executive Director of the Environmental Verification and Certification Unit; Eng. Khaled Nabil Mahdi - General Manager of Technical Consultations at the Center of Excellence at the General Authority for Export and Import Control; Eng. Maha Samir - Deputy General Manager of Technical Consultations at the Center of Excellence at the General Authority for Export and Import Control. The aim of the seminar was to link academic education, industry, and sustainable development goals by raising students' and researchers' awareness of the importance of sustainability in packaging design and connecting the academic aspect with internationally recognized standards.
