“The Disabled Rights in the University's Community" in celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities - Wednesday, 8/12/2025
Organized by the Faculty of Applied Arts in collaboration with the University Social Solidarity Unit

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, University President, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mona Abu Tabl, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts. The goal of organizing the seminar is educational, humanitarian, and societal, which can be summarized in several key points, including: - Establishing a culture of rights and inclusion within the university, and turning the International Day of Persons with Disabilities into a practical opportunity for positive change in awareness and university policies. - Raising awareness of the rights of people with disabilities by disseminating knowledge about the academic, social, and service rights that students with disabilities should enjoy within the university - Promoting a culture of inclusion: emphasizing that the university is an inclusive environment that respects diversity and embraces all students without discrimination.
