The Faculty of Media and Communication Arts held a symposium on "Credibility of Media in the Digital Age" under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Gharab, President of 6 October University, and Professor Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice Chancellor of Education and Students. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Gharab, Rector of the University. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Education, Students Affairs and A. Dr. Yasser Dkuri, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
During the symposium, His Excellency spoke of the importance of media credibility in an era when information flows unprecedented through social networks and Internet platforms, and Rizk noted the challenges faced by traditional media, including the spread of fake news and misinformation that caused a loss of confidence in media sources.
The profession was subject to three institutions, starting with the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, which monitored moral principles and defected from the National Media Authority and the National Press Authority, which operated the largest press institutions.
At the conclusion of the seminar, he received students' questions and kindly answered and responded, expressing his pleasure at having such thoughts among the students of the College. Dr. Dina Farouk AbuZaid by delivering the College Shield to His Excellency in the presence of a number of faculty members, associate body and students of the College.
