Promoting the Value of Work, Loyalty, and Belonging to the Nation

Seminars were held as part of the comprehensive development convoy in which the Faculty of Education participated in the village of Barqash – Imbaba Center in Giza Governorate, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
The Faculty of Education was represented by Ms. Amal Salah, a teaching assistant in the Department of Psychology, who delivered the awareness session to a group of 40 women attending the convoy.

Awareness was raised on the importance of two key topics: work and loyalty and belonging to the homeland, due to their significance.

Regarding work, there can be no progress or development without effort—and effort means work. Through the various responsibilities and tasks individuals undertake in their jobs, they develop many essential skills and capabilities that are not only important for the job itself but also for life in general. These include attention, focus, responsibility, self-discipline, and problem-solving skills, all of which contribute to the advancement of society.

As for loyalty and belonging, national loyalty is defined as a psychological, social, and behavioral feeling that drives an individual to act in ways that serve the interests of the community or the nation. It also includes a cognitive aspect, which is the individual’s awareness and understanding of the values and concepts that form the foundation of loyalty, along with a desire to serve the nation, elevate its status, and protect its resources and values—whether religious, civilizational, or cultural.
