Department of English – Faculty of Education – October 6 University
As part of supporting the professional development of the department’s students, graduates, and teaching assistants, a scientific event organized by NileTESOL titled “The ELT Professional Impact Series” was attended on Saturday, February 14, via Google Meet. The event was attended by a number of students, graduates, and teaching assistants from October 6 University and Al-Ahram Canadian University.
The event included three sessions that addressed topics related to academic research and publication in the field of English language teaching. The sessions discussed how to prepare impactful research papers, how to transform ESL classroom teaching experiences into publishable content, and strategies for diversifying the teaching of academic research to improve the research productivity of postgraduate students.
Participation in this event contributed to raising awareness of academic writing and scientific publishing, as well as enhancing participants’ research skills and professional development, thereby supporting the department’s role in serving the academic community and developing the capabilities of its students and graduates.
