The Continuing Education Unit at the Faculty of Dentistry, October 6 University, was honored to organize a scientific symposium under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohsen Abi Al-Hassan, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Continuing Medical Education Unit, and Prof. Dr. Rasha Sameh, Director of the Continuing Medical Education Unit

Bringing Technology to Teeth: The Role of Artificial intelligence in Dentistry
The symposium dealt with the role of artificial intelligence in the medical fields in general and dentistry in particular. It is a rapidly evolving topic and is one of the most prominent future trends in this field. In recent years, we have witnessed major transformations in the world of dentistry thanks to modern technology. Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of healthcare improvement.
The seminar also included a live application on the use of artificial intelligence for early diagnosis of diseases, and the attendees all interacted with the lecturers.
The symposium witnessed a heavy attendance of faculty members and the assisting body, as well as college students from different batches, graduate students and interns. Some visitors from different faculties of October 6 University and faculties of dentistry in various Egyptian universities were also interested in attending the symposium.
The attendees praised the scientific content of the symposium and the importance of the topic and its applications.
The seminar was held on Tuesday, 26/11/2024 at 10 am and lasted for three continuous hours in Hall 1126 of Mustafa Kamel Building
