The Faculty organized a scientific symposium entitled "Digital Media and Innovative Experiences" on Monday, 16 December 2024, in the presence of a group of experts in the field of digital media. The seminar was organized by Dr. Ahmed Abdelmadjid and Dr. Rashid Salah, faculty members of the faculty of journalism.
Mr. Osman Allam, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Radio and Television Magazine and Editor-in-Chief of Future Petroleum Newspaper and Website, addressed the importance of innovation in content production, warning against repetition, stressing the need for media students to rely on creativity in the content industry.
Professor Ihab Nafeh, Deputy Editor of Al-Dhurudiyah, delivered a speech on the challenges facing journalists in the era of digital transformation, noting the importance of adapting to the requirements of the new media.
Professor Mohammed Mukhtar, Director of Editing of the Language of the Times and Economic Pyramids, concluded with an intervention on digital media in facilitating access to information and promoting direct interaction with the public.
Dr. Mohammed Kamal, Managing Editor of Today's News Portal, also attended the symposium, where he spoke about the importance of digital media in promoting communication with the public and keeping abreast of technical developments.
The seminar saw a great interaction of students and faculty members, who praised the importance of the topics raised and stressed the need to continue these events to develop their skills and improve their abilities in the field of digital media
