 Commitment to the Intellectual Property and Publishing Rights

 

 The intellectual property is the individual’s innovative production; therefore, it is binding to abide by the following criteria:

1.     The faculty has the right to own the innovations or inventions in the aforementioned intellectual property.

2.     Any member of the teaching staff has the right to compose and enjoy his/her own innovative intellectual production provided that free copies of his/her work are submitted to the faculty’s library. Students are not forced to buy that work.

3.     Any member of the teaching staff has the right to compose notes for the students in the event that they include the references, periodicals and web sites from which the material is made up of.

4.     It is not allowed to use or copy any computer applications without a license from the publisher.

5.     The faculty’s personnel are not permitted to copy the works available which is considered a violation of the author’s rights in protecting the artistic and literary works.

6.     The library is provided with guidelines for its visitors in order to ensure their commitment to the disciplines stated in the intellectual property law.
