October Media organizes a seminar on first aid in cooperation with the Egyptian Ambulance Authority.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President of the University for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, and under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at the University, in cooperation with the Egyptian Ambulance Authority headed by Dr. Amr Rashid, the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts organized a seminar and workshop on first aid that can be used in the event of any emergency or accident to save the lives of people around us. The workshop was presented by Dr. Mohamed Hussein, Director of 6th of October Ambulance, Mr. Moanes Abu Sarea, Director of the Media Department at the Egyptian Ambulance Authority, Mr. Ahmed Sami, Supervisor of the 6th of October Sector, and organized by Dr. Sara Abdel Aziz, Lecturer in the Journalism Department at the College, and Ms. Rana Shaker, Assistant Lecturer in the Radio and Television Department. The students were trained on how to deal with transporting people in the event of accidents or fainting and cardiopulmonary resuscitation cases. The students were also practically introduced to the components of the ambulance. The workshop was well received by the attendees. At the end of the meeting, Ms. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, the college shield for the attendees in appreciation of their distinguished efforts.
