The Molecular Modelling and Drug Design Unit of the College organized a workshop entitled:
Applications of molecular docking in drug design and development.
On Sunday, October 3, 2021, at the 6020 Laboratory at the University's Faculty of Computers using MOE2014.
In the presence of Dr. Mohammed Rifaat Al-Ghabashy, Acting Dean of the Faculty and Undersecretary of the Faculty for Graduate Affairs and Scientific Research
Dr. Nabawia Musa, College Undersecretary for Education and Students
In addition to the faculty and the faculty in various pharmaceutical disciplines
Present were: Dr. Farghli Abdul Hamid Omar,  Dr. Nadia Mohammed Ahmed Mahfouz and Dr. Israa Zakaria Mohammed Rajab
Dr. Inas Taha Abdel Hamid and pharmacist Mohamed Jamal Al-Beheiri participated.
The program included:
First: A lecture from 9_10 a.m.  represented by Dr. Farghaly entitled:
Molecular docking:Basic concept,significance and Applications
Second: The first scientific training session from 10 to 12 p.m.  represented  by  Dr. Nadia Mohammed Ahmed Mahfouz entitled:
MOE : Basic function and operation ligand preparation for molecular docking
Second scientific training session from 1 to 3 represented by   Dr.Israa Zakaria Mohammed Rajab entitled:
Docking Applications involving (PDB,target identification , preparation and optimization)
