Website Update Committee

 

Website Update Mechanism

The data and information updated on the website are divided into two categories, and are updated as follows:

A. College News, Achievements, and Student Activities (Updated periodically):

  • These are updated during the vacations of the Dean or by the designated website coordinator at the faculty, with all new developments in the college.

  • News items are collected from relevant sources, written in both Arabic and English, and accompanied by images or videos (if available).

  • The news is sent to the University’s Department of Cultural Relations for thorough review.

  • After review, the information is uploaded to the website by the University’s IT Department.

B. College-specific Data and Information (Updated every 3 or 6 months):

Such as the Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the Faculty, or other data that require periodic updates and approval by official entities like the Quality Assurance Unit or the Examination Control Unit.

  • Information about the Quality Assurance Unit, specialized units, or faculty committees is collected through designated files that have been reviewed and approved by the Dean.

  • Some reports related to student activities or academic support are collected by the student activity coordinator or academic support units, and are reviewed by the Dean or Vice Deans beforehand.

  • All information is thoroughly reviewed, reformatted, and prepared for publication on the faculty’s official website.

Tasks of the Website Update Committee

  • Developing and maintaining the college website and departmental pages in both Arabic and English.

  • Collecting and reviewing website content, and coordinating with the Dean, Vice Deans, and Department Heads to improve and update content.

  • Gathering reports related to student activities and academic support in coordination with the Dean and the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

  • Monitoring and collecting all college-related news and achievements in coordination with the University's Department of Cultural Relations for publication on the website and official platforms.

  • Regular coordination with the University’s Department of Cultural Relations and the IT Department to follow up on the development and updates of the college’s web pages.

  • Regularly informing the Faculty Council of the latest updates and developments of the college’s website.
