Instructions Inside the Exam Halls (Written and Oral Exams)

  1. No student is allowed to enter the exam hall without presenting a valid university ID card.

  2. Students must verify their exam schedules from official sources. The Faculty is not responsible for relying on any unofficial source.

  3. Students are required to be present in the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time. No student is allowed to enter after 30 minutes from the start, and no one is allowed to leave before 30 minutes have passed.

  4. If a student is caught cheating or attempting to cheat during the exam, their exam will be canceled even if they complete it. In addition, disciplinary action will be taken, and they will not be allowed to sit for the remaining exams.

  5. If the student is caught possessing any written materials or papers related to the course content, even if not used, it will be considered a cheating attempt and treated accordingly.

  6. The use of electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones, or any communication device) is strictly prohibited in the exam hall. Devices must be completely turned off and kept out of reach.

  7. Students must ensure they sign the attendance sheet when present in the exam hall. If a student does not sign, they will be considered absent.

  8. Every student must sit in the seat assigned to them, as per the seating plan.

  9. The student is fully responsible for checking the exam schedule and their attendance.

  10. Oral exam dates are announced by the academic departments.

  11. Students must answer using a pen. Use of pencils is not allowed. Cheating or attempting to cheat through hand signals or any other form will be treated as an offense.

  12. It is strictly prohibited to write any personal comments or unrelated material on the exam paper.

  13. Any violation of exam rules will be recorded, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.

  14. Students must leave the exam hall immediately after submitting the answer sheet, and no exam materials (such as scratch paper) should be taken outside.

Instructions Regarding the Answer Sheet

  1. Students must ensure they write their name and university ID number clearly and correctly on the answer sheet. They must also verify the number of attached answer sheets and sign accordingly.

  2. Students must bring their own writing tools (pens, pencils, rulers, erasers) and are prohibited from borrowing or lending tools during the exam.

  3. Use only a blue or black pen for answering. For MCQs, the answer must be filled in the bubble sheet using an HB pencil only.

  4. Students must write legibly. Any unclear handwriting may result in the answer not being considered.

  5. It is prohibited to write any identifying marks or names other than the designated fields on the answer sheet.

  6. Students must adhere strictly to the number of answer sheets allowed and not attach extra sheets unless officially permitted.

Cases of Exam Cancellation

  1. The exam will be considered void if the student enters after 30 minutes from the start or leaves before 30 minutes.

  2. The student’s exam will be canceled if caught cheating or attempting to cheat. If caught during correction with signs of cheating or having hidden papers, the exam will be voided, and disciplinary action will follow.

  3. The student will be referred to the disciplinary committee if caught cheating during the exam or violating the regulations and university ethics.
