 The Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy,  October 6 university, organized a scientific day to discuss and arbitrate the clinical research project at the Clinical Pharmacy 2 course for fifth-level students, at the   College of Pharmacy entitled

Factors Affecting Glycemic Control Among Egyptian Diabetic Patients: Observational Cross Sectional Study
 
The students carried out a study on the number of 2500 diabetic patients in Egypt and studied the factors affecting the disease in terms of the patient's regularity in taking the drug and follow-up measurement of sugar and visit the doctor and the side effects of the drugs used and the effect of medications on the weight of the patient as well as the method of taking and storing insulin and the effect of all this on the cumulative sugar rate in the blood
 
The students collected the data from the patients.
Analysis by SPSS and writing a scientific poster
 
The Department of Clinical Pharmacy has hired pharmacists from hospitals to judge posters as an external arbitrator and faculty members of the college as an internal arbitrator.
 
The scientific forum was attended by Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz, Vice President of the University for Scientific Research

Mr. Dr. Nabawia Abdulaziz, Undersecretary of the College for Education and Students Affairs
 
The research project was under the supervision of Dr. Engy  Wahsh, Professor of Course and Dr. Ahmed Essam of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy
 
The scientific forum was co-organized by the Committee for Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty of Pharmacy
