Lecture on: Bioinformatics and Statistical Techniques for Enhancing Biological Research

On Thursday, February 27, 2025, Professor Dr. Mohamed Nabil, Professor of Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, delivered a lecture on the use of bioinformatics programs and statistical techniques for the analysis of biological data. The session focused on how these tools can be utilized to enhance biological research and support efforts to discover plant-based medicinal compounds.
During the lecture, Dr. Nabil showcased a variety of software applications and analytical tools used in bioinformatics and biostatistics. He explained their significance in interpreting complex biological data, aiding in the development of evidence-based research, and advancing drug discovery from natural sources.
