Visit of the Students' Union from 6th of October Schools to October 6 University

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of October 6 University, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, 53 students from the Student Unions of 6th of October City Schools visited the university's faculties. The visit was coordinated by the Awareness Caravan Committee chaired by Prof. Dr. Samir Othman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development, and supervised by the Head of the School Unions Department, along with several other supervisors.
During the visit, the students explored a variety of activities and were introduced to the various university faculties:

Faculty of Tourism: The students visited the college’s museum, where they learned about Egypt's rich historical treasures, including Pharaonic artifacts. They also learned about the college's academic programs and praised the beauty of the museum.

Faculty of Medicine: The students were amazed by the modern equipment in the medical labs, where they learned about human anatomy and even participated in a dissection session where they saw a real heart. They also visited multiple departments within the faculty.

Faculty of Pharmacy: The Faculty of Pharmacy coordinated and organized the visit, welcoming the students to the campus.

Faculty of Engineering: The students toured the engineering labs, observing robotic and engineering projects. They were also introduced to the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Mechatronics.

Faculty of Physical Therapy: The students visited the therapy labs and various departments. They were educated about maintaining proper posture during study hours, standing, and walking. Additionally, the correct way to carry school bags and proper smartphone usage were discussed to avoid harm.

Faculty of Media: The media team provided full coverage of the visit, documenting the activities from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The visit was praised by the visiting coordinator and the entire supervisory team for their efforts and requested for continued collaboration. As a result of this visit, the students identified their future career paths, with many expressing interest in pursuing engineering, medicine, or other academic fields.
