A Medical Convoy to Haram City

 Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Kohil (Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy), the Community Participation Committee, in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine, carried out a medical convoy on Wednesday 8/11/2017 for the Family Health Unit in Haram City in 6th October City.

At the end of the day, medical disclosure had been signed on 865 cases and detailed as follows:
146 children, 214 internal cases, 23 surgical cases, 81 cases of ophthalmology, 47 cases of Gynecology/Obstetrics, 23 cases of nose, ear and throat, and 258 cases were transferred to the October 6 University Hospital for various tests and operations.
Students recorded patients' data, organized their entry into the clinics, and disbursed the medication. Dr.Azza al-Gharib made awareness about the infection of scabies.
The students distributed a questionnaire to measure the extent of the community's satisfaction with the convoy. The people expressed their desire to repeat the medical convoy on a regular basis because of their great need and thanks to the medical team that served them.
The participants in the convoy also expressed their interest in participation and their desire to participate in the upcoming convoys to carry out their duty towards society.
