Journalism Department students at 6th of October Media win the Youth Change the Image competition at the National Council for Women.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of 6th of October University, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, "Arousty" magazine won second place in the Youth Change the Image competition of the Press Production Department affiliated with the National Council for Women. It is worth noting that the magazine is under the supervision of Dr. Shaimaa Abu Mandour, Head of the Journalism Department at the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, Dr. Maha Shabana Al-Wahsh, Lecturer in the Department of Electronic and Print Journalism at the Faculty, Ms. Maha Ashraf Salem, Assistant Lecturer in the Department, and Mr. Ahmed Sameh, former Head of Akhbar Al-Youm Council.

The Media Committee of the National Council for Women, headed by Prof. Dr. Suzan Al-Qalini, honored Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts at 6th of October University, for her participation in the scientific research judging committees in the competition. It also honored the winners participating in the Youth Changing the Image competition, in which the Faculty of Media participated, as the faculty presented distinguished media production committed to the standards of the media code, supporting women's issues and contributing significantly to enhancing the Council's vision to advance media discourse.
