Students of the Press Department in October Media organize field campaigns to raise awareness of community issues.

As part of the applications of the "Press Campaigns" course, the students of the Journalism Department of the Faculty of Information organized field campaigns aimed at raising awareness of important societal issues, introducing distinctive ideas aimed at positive change in society.

Among the most prominent campaigns launched by students are:
The campaign "Yourself", which aims to make individuals aware of the importance of self-acceptance and to stay out of context behind cosmetic procedures that may harm mental and physical health.
The "No logging" campaign, which seeks to maintain environmental balance by reducing logging and encouraging logging.
The "Your Country First Pick" campaign, which aims to curb illegal migration, while promoting the spirit of belonging to the homeland and encouraging young people to build their future within their own country.
The "Her Dreams Are More Important" campaign, which calls for preventing underage marriages, encouraging girls' education and supporting the realization of their dreams before marriage.
The campaigns were prepared under the supervision and participation of A. ' Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, Dr. Sara Abdulaziz, Teacher in the Department of Journalism and Professor of Rapporteur, and A/Asma Shalabi, Assistant Teacher to the Rapporteur.

A. " Dr. Dina Farouk Abuzid stressed the importance of these campaigns in enhancing students' practical skills and linking them to societal issues, noting that the Faculty of Information always seeks to prepare a conscious generation capable of positively influencing society through journalistic and media tools
