Faculty of Media at 6 October University organizes the University Friendship League in the presence of a selection of eminent persons.
The Faculty of Media and Communication Arts organized the Sports Friendship League, which concluded its events today with a final match that brought together the Faculty of Pharmacy team and the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology team. The match ended with the Faculty of Pharmacy team winning three goals against one goal in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and celebration.
The match was attended by Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Gharab, Rector of the University and Professor Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Education and Students' Affairs The event was also attended by Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, Captain Khaled al-Ghandour, captain of Zamalek Club and former Egypt player, In addition to a number of university leaders such as Dr. Mohammed Rafat Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Dina Ezzat, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Technology, Dr. Tariq Saad, University Youth Pioneer, and A/Ahmed Alam Director of the University's Youth Welfare Department and Dr. Ahmed Abdelmadjid, youth leader of the Faculty of Media - who organized the event The match was refereed by Captain Hussein Al Gamal, Sports Activity Officer of the Department of Youth Welfare.
The League was distinguished by the participation of a large number of student teams from various faculties of the University, with the aim of promoting the values of friendship, cooperation and positive competition among students. In the final, the College of Pharmacy team shone with a strong and enthusiastic performance, winning the championship title after presenting a remarkable match that was admired by the attendees.
At the conclusion of the event, the first-place team of the Faculty of Pharmacy was honored with the distribution of medals, with warm applause from the audience who attended to encourage the competing teams. The Dean of the Faculty of Media, Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, also expressed her pleasure at the success of the league, noting the importance of these sporting activities in promoting a collective spirit and honourable competition among the university students.
