6th of October Media holds a symposium on "Media Skills in the Age of Artificial Intelligence". Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Mustafa Ghorab, President of 6th of October University, Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Azizi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts, the Faculty of Media and Communication Arts held a symposium today, Thursday, February 13, 2025, entitled "Media Skills in the Age of Artificial Intelligence", presented by the Editor-in-Chief of Al-Hayat TV Network and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Hayat Today Program, Dr. Muhammad Reda Habib, and organized by Dr. Muhammad Salah, Lecturer in the Radio and Television Department at the Faculty, Ms. Alaa Hilal, Assistant Lecturer in the Department, and Ms. Salma Ashraf, Teaching Assistant in the Department. The symposium addressed a number of important topics in the field of artificial intelligence and how to benefit from artificial intelligence applications in the field of media, in addition to talking about some global experiences in using the field of artificial intelligence. The students also discussed a number of basic skills that must be available in a successful media professional and the technical and ethical skills that he must adhere to. At the end of the symposium, the students interacted by answering a number of important questions that enriched the topic of the symposium, and his answers enriched the students with important and valuable information. Prof. Dr. Dina Farouk Abu Zeid honored His Excellency at the end of the symposium in appreciation of His Excellency amid great interaction from the students.
