Under the auspices of Prof. Mona Ahmed Al Halawani, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, and Associate Prof. Gehan M. Anwar, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Community Service Sector launched a new initiative under the theme of “Toward a Better and Sustainable Tomorrow.”An awareness-raising video on the importance of recycling for our surrounding environment was prepared by the faculty students and teaching staff, aiming to shed light on the crucial role of recycling as one of the key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It features the methods of recycling household, industrial, medical or agricultural waste; highlighting that recycling paper could spare our environment the emission of 390 tons of dioxide annually, thus creating a clean environment and a better future.
