2- Reading literature carefully gives the student the opportunity to learn about the most important authors and literary texts that represent different eras in the culture of the English language.
3- Understanding the distinctive characteristics of English literary texts and different literary trends and genres.
4- Translating various texts (political, scientific, economic, etc.) accurately, faithfully, and consciously.
5- Proficiency in the Arabic language, including grammar, literature, texts, references, and readings in a way that enables the graduate to translate from and into the Arabic language.
6- Analyzing the structure, level and functions of discourse in the English language.
7- Positive interaction with other cultures while preserving the graduate's national cultural identity.
8- Proficiency in a second foreign language as well as the English language.
9- Conducting innovative scientific research and adopting scientific honesty and research integrity.

Second: National/Cultural Attributes
