"Celebrating the International Day for the Rejection of Violence against Women" - Wednesday 4/12/2024

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of October 6 University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Deans and Vice Deans for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs (Faculty of Medicine, Surgery and Applied Arts), a seminar was held on "Celebrating the International Day for the Rejection of Violence against Women" - Wednesday 4/12/2024, where the Safe Women Unit at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery participated in presenting the unit's services to battered women and explaining the different types of violence and harassment, and the explanation was done by Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Tahlawi, faculty of Applied Arts participated by vice dean for Community Service Affairs  Explaining why the world has dedicated November 25 of each year to celebrate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the occasion that aims to shed light on the issue of violence against women and girls and raise awareness about that, this day comes as an affirmation of the importance of putting an end to these violations that they suffer from, Prof. Dr. Hanaa Al-Kazazz directed the need to follow the laws and heavenly religions to avoid harassers and others who mistreat women to fall under the law, and we were honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Amr Nadim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, where he enriched the dialogue and discussion.   The objective of the seminar was:
1. Achieving some sustainable development goals (4, 3, 5, 8, 10) and achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.
2. Urge those present to avoid falling under the law.
3. Identify human rights, including women's rights.
4. How a battered woman behaves if she gets into any trouble.

5. Women's rights.
