"Celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities" – Sunday 1/12/2024

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of October 6 University, and Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and based on the approved sector activities plan for the academic year 2024-2025, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities was celebrated in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, University President, Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. Nada Thabet, member of the House of Representatives and Dr. Iman Karim, President of the National Council for People with Disabilities, The presenter of the ceremony was Rahma Khaled, the first presenter of People of Determination (Dawn), and each guest gave a speech about the rights and duties of people with disabilities, and the university administration, represented by Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab and Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, they honored the guests of the celebration with certificates of appreciation and the university's shield.
 The guests are: Presenter Rahma Khaled, the first presenter of people of determination (Dawn), the champions of Paris 2024 Olympic:
1.     . The heroine Rehab Ahmed gold weightlifting.
2.     Champion Fatima Mahrous silver weightlifting.
3.     Champion Hisham Salah - volleyball team sitting.
4.     Hossam Massoud bronze medal for the volleyball team sitting.
5.     3. Heroes from the Egyptian Boccia team, a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy, October 6 University, the champion Tasneem Mohamed, "Boccia game".
The child Rawda Walid "talent of reciting poetry" and participated in a celebration with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Abdul Rahman Muhammad "Intellectual Disability" talented in Upper Egypt folklore. The university has provided buses to transport people with hearing disabilities from the school in the sixth district of 6th of October City, and the rest of the guests with disabilities were transported from the Association for the Care of the Rights of the Disabled in Imbaba with the provision of 20 lunches, hospitality (water and juice for 200 people), certificates of appreciation and the university shield.
