Under the auspices of Prof. Mamdouh Mostafa Ghorab, President of October 6 University; Prof. Iman El-Azizi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Omaima Ghanem Zidan, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation and Prof. Mohamed Nassef, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and under the supervision of Dr. Sayed Saad, Rapporteur of the Training and Technical Support Committee at the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit, and Dr. Mohamed Saleh, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit.
On an exceptional day, and on 7 February 2026, I had the pleasure of attending the ceremony for awarding field training certificates to the students of the Faculty of Languages and Translation from the Departments of English, German, French, Spanish, and Chinese at the Middle East News Agency (MENA). The students successfully and excellently completed their training in computer-assisted translation and screen translation, delivered by professional trainers: Dr. Amira Mahmoud and Dr. Ahmed Shoura.
The Faculty of Languages and Translation extends its sincere thanks, appreciation, and respect to Mr. Ahmed Kamal, Chairman of the Agency; Mr. Khaled El-Sebaie, Supervisor of the Agency’s Training Center; as well as the Training Center team—Mr. Rami Magdy and Mr. Hany—for their dedicated efforts and their commitment to providing distinguished training programs that effectively prepare our students for the labor market.
