Mission, Vision and Objectives

 :Vision

The Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Languages and Translation aspires to become one of the most important units at the University of October 6 University in quality assurance systems both academically and administratively. The goal is, also, to be the cornerstone in gaining the trust of the local, regional, and international community in the educational, research, and community activities offered by the faculty and its programs.

:Mission

Establishing an internal quality system at the Faculty of Languages and Translation ensures comprehensive quality achievement, development, and enhancement in line with the faculty’s mission towards the attainment of its strategic goals that are in accord with quality standards. This is mainly to emphasize competitive capabilities and innovation in the performance of educational, research, and community services offered by the faculty at both local and international levels.

:Objectives of the Quality Assurance Unit

 The Quality Assurance unit strives to achieve the following goals:

1- Enable the faculty to achieve its mission and strategic goals.

2- Enhance values of excellence and competitiveness in all fields affiliated with the faculty.

3- Outline policies and procedures that support achieving quality standards.

4- Promote culture of quality among the members of the faculty community.

5- Apply national accreditation standards and quality assurance in higher education.

6- Gain trust of the Egyptian and international community in the outputs of the educational process.

7- Provide technical support to the faculty to help in implementing quality standards.

8- Identify and document the performance of all educational, research, and service activities at all faculty levels.

9- Activate student participation in applying quality standards.

10- Create an integrated database for all educational and research components of the faculty.

11- Organize workshops, training courses, meetings with students, employees, faculty members, faculty administrative personnel, leaderships, stakeholders in the external community, employers, and graduates. This is to promote a culture of quality and address the problems and challenges that hinder the achievement of the faculty's strategic objectives; introduce the faculty's vision and mission; allow consultations and technical support for departments of the faculty to facilitate the application of quality systems and development plans.

12- Prepare newsletters, posters, advertisements, and brochures related to promoting and enhancing the culture of quality at the faculty.

13- Follow up on the completion of the courses and programs reports templates.
