Objectives:

1. Implement procedures to enhance the role of scientific research within the faculty to serve the community by monitoring local and regional research developments and trends.
2. Engage with institutions and centers related to language, literature, and translation studies, providing research in various entities.
3. Encourage graduates to enroll in postgraduate programs and produce high-quality research that adheres to recognized academic standards.
4. Maximize the utilization of national and international information resources, increase collaboration with peer institutions locally and globally, and deepen the benefits of such cooperation in postgraduate studies and scientific research.
5. Promote scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
6. Prepare a comprehensive volume of research publications authored by the Faculty members.
7. Identify the requirements for developing education and learning processes and align them with research activities.
8. Monitor the library's role and activities in supporting scientific research.
9. Equip the library with required references and books to support scientific research.
10. Organize lecture schedules focused on teaching, learning, and research practices within the library.
11. Publish scientific research materials.
12. Develop a dedicated webpage on the faculty's website for scientific research and ensure its regular updates.
13. Form research teams in the various departments of the faculty.
14. Monitor the research priorities and orientations of the faculty's departments and ensure their alignment.
15. Develop an annual scientific research plan and departmental research orientations, ensuring they align with the financial and material resources of the Faculty and the university's strategic plan.
16. Organize the Faculty's annual scientific conference.
