The Student Welfare Committee

 Vision:

The Faculty Student Welfare Committee seeks to provide the necessary support for the educational process with the aim of developing the student's abilities at both the academic and personal levels to address the challenges hindering their academic progress. It also works to enhance academic achievement and professional qualification at the local and regional levels.

Mission

The Student Welfare Committee has established a clear message, which is to adhere to the programs set by the university, to achieve an outstanding university environment based on the positive interaction between students and the university. It also aims to help students overcome any personal, social, educational, and developmental challenges they may face.

Objectives:

The Student Welfare Committee aims to achieve several goals that integrate with the educational process.

1.    Helping students understand their abilities, interests, and orientations through interviews and tests.

2.    Assisting students with psychological issues in adapting to themselves and others.

3.    Supporting outstanding students, those struggling academically, and students with special needs, and working to solve their academic, social, and psychological problems in collaboration with The Student Evaluation Review Committee and Faculty administration.

4.    Monitoring student registration, acceptance, and transfers at the faculty.

5.    Overcoming learning difficulties in the field of languages and proposing appropriate solutions.

6.    Developing students' interactive skills, such as translation skills, communication skills, and teaching skills.

7.    Identifying and nurturing students' skills, interests, and talents, and directing them in the right way through participation in sports social and cultural activities.

8.    Activating the academic, psychological, and social counseling system and assessing the awareness of faculty members, supporting staff, and administrators about it.
