Admission and Enrollment Requirements

  

1- Learners who have a bachelor's degree from one of the universities recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities are accepted to study in the graduate program and from colleges with corresponding scientific departments, taking into account the general rules approved by the Supreme Council of Universities in this regard.

2- The student is accepted if he meets the conditions for admission to the English language program listed in the internal regulations of the graduate studies of the concerned faculty, as well as the rules set by the faculty Council, so that it does not exceed the absorptive capacity of the English language department, and the student must submit all the required documents announced, as well as fill out the forms of the Department of Graduate Studies.

3- Learners with a first degree (bachelor) with a good general grade or its equivalent in the credit-hour system are allowed to enroll in the master's program according to specialization.

4- The student is considered initially enrolled if he/ she completes the registration procedures before the end of the second week of the fall and spring semesters or the first week of the summer semester, and the student is not allowed to attend the courses unless he is initially registered.

5- The student is not considered permanently enrolled in any course until after paying the tuition fees.

6- The student may register in the first or second semester in courses with a total of 12 credit hours without being required to devote himself to study.

7- Learners are not allowed to register a course that requires studying another course before it until after studying and passing this course.

8- After the approval of the Faculty Council and based on the proposal of the competent department council, it is allowed to calculate a number of courses that have already been studied at another university or faculty and approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, provided that these courses are among the courses required to obtain the degree, and that the student has succeeded in them with a grade of C + at least, provided that the number of courses does not exceed two master's or doctoral courses throughout the program, provided that:

 a) They must have been studied at the level at which the student is registered.

b) Student should not have obtained another degree, and the regulations of the faculties determine the levels at which he works, and these hours are calculated for the student when calculating the cumulative total of grades GPA.

c) The study should not have been more than four years from the date of the new registration.
