Spotlights on the Religious Contest Second Edition - 2026

 Under the auspices of Prof. Mamdouh Mostafa Ghorab, President of October 6 University; Prof. Iman El-Azizi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Omayma Ghanem Zidan, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation; and under the supervision of the University’s Youth Welfare Administration, as Prof. Amani Hafez, Professor of Modern Arabic Literature, and Dr. Sayed Saad, Youth Pioneer, the Faculty of Languages and Translation organized the Second Edition of its annual Religious Contest on Monday, 16 March 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in Lecture Hall 2136 in the presence of a large number of students.

 
The competition featured three main categories: The Qur’an Memorization, Prophetic Hadith Memorization, and General Religious Knowledge Questions.
 
First: Winners in the Qur’an and Hadith Memorization Contest 
           were (17 students) as follows:
  (9) students from the German Department
  (4) students from the English Department
  (4) students from the Chinese Department

 Second: Winners in the General Religious Knowledge Contest

Ten students from all five departments of the Faculty won in the General Religious Knowledge Contest:

 Third:
The Faculty’s Youth Welfare awarded cash prizes and certificates of appreciation to all winners in recognition of their achievement and in encouragement of their continued excellence.
